Paris-based asset manager Amundi has announced the appointment of two executives for its exchange-traded fund business in Asia.

Amundi appoints Sunny Leung as head of ETF indexing and smart beta sales, Asia ex-Japan, according to a statement. The firm also appoints Jeffrey Jeon as head of ETF indexing and smart beta sales, North Asia, reporting to Leung. 

Leung has been working at Amundi for its North and South Asia ETF indexing and smart beta business from 2017 to 2023. Prior to that, he worked at State Street Global Advisors Singapore, Vanguard Investment Hong Kong, Credit Suisse Asset Management and Lyxor Asset Management.

Jeon joins from BlackRock where he worked at for 11 years, including the Hong Kong-based Asia ex-Japan distribution team of its ETF arm, iShares.
