Zurich-based US insurer Chubb has announced an internal promotion to the role of head of property for the Asia Pacific region.
Chubb promotes Ben McGregor to head of property, APAC & Japan, according to a statement, effective December 1. Based in Singapore, he reports to regional president of APAC Paul McNamee and Chubb Overseas General head of fire Aaron Shead.
McGregor has more than 25 years of industry experience and first joined Chubb in 2002 as an underwriter in Perth. Since 2018, he held the role of property manager, Australia & New Zealand.
«With his proven leadership skills and commitment to underwriting excellence, [McGregor] will be pivotal in ensuring we capitalize on the many growth opportunities across the region,» commented McNamee.
