Credit-focused investment firm Muzinich & Co has announced the appointment of a new chief executive in Asia Pacific.

Muzinich & Co promotes Andrew Tan to CEO, APAC, according to a statement, while he retains his existing responsibilities as lead portfolio manager and investment committee member for the firm’s APAC private debt strategy. 

Tan has over 20 years of industry experience and first joined Muzinich in 2020 as managing director and head of APAC private debt.

«[Tan’s] deep knowledge of credit markets, combined with considerable expertise in business development, makes him well placed to drive the firm’s strategic expansion in the region and I look forward to working with him in the years ahead,» said Muzinich CEO Justin Muzinich.

Founded in 1988 in New York, Muzinich & Co is a privately owned investment firm specializing in public and private credit. It currently has 14 offices worldwide managing $37.4 billion in fixed income credit assets, as of 31 January 2023.
