A former executive at Taiwanese electronics giant Foxconn has reportedly joined UBS to lead ESG advisory in the Asia Pacific region.

UBS has named Brendan Tu to the newly created role of head of ESG advisory for APAC, according to a report by «FinanceAsia» citing an internal memo, effective February 21.

Based in Hong Kong, Tu reports to London-based global head of advisory Laurent Bouvier as well as head of global banking APAC Gaetano Bassolino.

Tu is a former chief investment officer and vice president of Foxconn Industrial Internet, a subsidiary of the Taiwanese electronics manufacturing firm Foxconn. Previously, he also worked for UBS.
