An ex-Citi banker rejoins from HSBC to lead the American lender’s Singapore global subsidiaries group.

Chia Seok Hoon was named Citi Singapore’s global subsidiaries group head earlier this month on December 21, according to a «Business Times» report, succeeding Gilbert Ng who was appointed as Citi Singapore’s head of integrated corporate bank in July.

In her new role, Chia reports to Ng and Munir Nanji, global subsidiaries group head for Asia Pacific and Central Europe cluster head.

Chia has nearly two decades of experience, most recently with HSBC where she was a team head at its international subsidiary banking group supporting locals and regional multinationals based in the city-state. Her stint with HSBC started in July 2015 after working for Citi since 2004, last as a corporate banker managing a portfolio of large Singapore-headquartered companies across industries.
