She succeeds Scott Burnett, who is currently transitioning from his Asia geography role into his new position as chief commercial officer in the Risk & Broking operations worldwide.

Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has appointed Clare Muhiudeen as the firm's head of Asia, effective immediately, the U.K.-based insurance broking giant announced on Tuesday.

Based in Hong Kong, Muhiudeen will be responsible for driving business growth and directing WTW's client and colleague experience across its business segments in Asia. She reports to Pamela Thomson-Hall, WTW head of international.

Muhiudeen brings 30 years of experience in human capital consulting to the role, during which she has served clients and led large, multi-disciplinary teams across various international markets including Asia Pacific, Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and Latin America. She joined the firm in 2003, and most rcently led the company’s Human Capital & Benefits segment across WTW International.
