Goldman Sachs Lures Workers Back to Office with Food
Goldman Sachs is reportedly offering free food as part of its push to convince employees from its global offices to ditch work-from-home measures and return home.
Goldman Sachs is offering free food across its global offices to lure workers back to the office, according to a «Bloomberg» report, including in Hong Kong.
The American bank is providing free breakfast, lunch and ice cream for employees.
In London, it is also allowing meals to be enjoyed on the landscaped roof garden of its European headquarter, Plumtree Court, which was once served for clients and visiting royalty.
Post-Pandemic Condition
Goldman Sachs joins a number of other companies, including Janus Henderson, to adopt the same approach to transition away from work-from-home (WFH) measures.
But not all financial firms are seeking to aggressively push for a return to offices.
Standard Chartered, for example, will make hybrid work arrangements available to around 90 percent of its employees by 2023. DBS is also seeking a permanent hybrid model with plans to allow remote working for up to 40 percent of the time.
