VP Bank maintains expansion momentum in Asia, despite an ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with five front office hires for its Singapore unit.

The five front office hires include Sean Chee, business development managers for the intermediaries team alongside Christopher Shi and Howard Wang, both senior relationship managers covering Southeast Asia.

Chee has experience covering wealth management and the intermediary segment in Asia, having worked for the likes of Credit Suisse, Citigroup and Julius Baer in Singapore.

Shi is a 20-year wealth management veteran and had previously worked with UOB, ANZ and Julius Baer. Wang joins from HSBC Private Bank where he spent 19 years covering the Southeast Asian client market.

Continued Asia Expansion

The five hires announced are part of the VP Bank's broader expansion plans in Asia. In the last six months, the Liechtenstein-based private bank added a total of 11 front office hires including sevens senior relationship managers.
