UBS AM Adds Ex-Invesco China Equities Portfolio Manager
The asset management unit of UBS has hired a former portfolio manager from Invesco to its China equities team.
Raymond Ma has joined UBS Asset Management as deputy to Bin Shi, head of China equities, according to a memo, based in Hong Kong.
Ma was most recently chief investment officer for mainland China and Hong Kong at Invesco, managing several of the firm's China and Greater China funds. Prior to that, he spent 15 years at Fidelity in Hong Kong, where he was a key China portfolio manager.
«Furthermore, Bin and Raymond have known each other for over 20 years as key industry peers, and share a common fundamental approach towards investing,» the memo added.
