Citi Appoints Head of Markets and Country Treasurer for Vietnam
A 20-year veteran and former Maybank executive has joined Citi as its head of markets and country treasurer for Vietnam.
Citi has appointed Thai Nguyet Minh as head of markets and country treasurer for Vietnam, according to a statement, reporting to Sue Lee, head of markets for Asia South. She succeeds Minh Ngo, who was recently named Citi country officer and banking head for Vietnam.
Thai has nearly two decades of experience in Vietnamese markets with a strong focus on client advisory, foreign exchange and derivatives. She was most recently head of global markets Vietnam at Maybank. Prior to that, she worked at BNP Paribas as head of global macro sales.
«Citi is well-positioned to capture the significant growth opportunities within Vietnam's dynamic Markets franchise, an important part of our strategy within ASEAN. Our commitment to this economy remains strong, supported by the nation's robust economic growth ambitions and progress,« Lee remarked.
