Ex-UBS Private Banker Joins Indian Asset Management Group
A former senior private banker from UBS has joined an India-based wealth and asset management group.
Puneet Matta has joined Neo Asset and Wealth Management as co-founder and vice chairman, according to a LinkedIn post.
Matta is a seasoned banking veteran with more than three decades of experience, most recently serving as head of global wealth management, India at UBS. Prior to that, he held other senior roles at Credit Suisse, UBP and Citi.
Neo Asset and Wealth Management is part of Neo Group, which was formed in 2021 by Nitin Jain, ex-wealth CEO at Indian financial services conglomerate Edelweiss.
