Former Citi Banker Joins UBS’ Australia Wealth Team
UBS’ wealth management unit has hired a 19-year Citi executive in its Singapore office to cover the Australia market, finews.asia has learned.
UBS Global Wealth Management has hired Carl Ashton to its Australia international team in Singapore, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia.
Ashton is a seasoned wealth management veteran who joins from Citi, where he spent 19 years and ran the investment business for the New Zealand and non-resident India market at Citi Private Bank.
When contacted, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed the new hire.
