Visa Appoints Greater China General Manager

A 30-year tech veteran has been named as the general manager of payment giant Visa in Greater China.

Visa has appointed Elaine Chang as group general manager for Greater China, according to a statement. She succeeds Shirley Yu, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Chang has more than 30 years of experience in senior leadership positions at Amazon, AWS and Intel. Roles she previously held include global vice president and general manager of Kindle China, president of Amazon China, managing director of AWS Greater China and AWS global go-to-market for generative AI and machine learning.
