Sun Life Taps Ex-Citi Executive as CEO of HNW Business
Sun Life has named a Chief Executive Officer for its high net worth division, effective November 4. He will oversee operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bermuda, driving growth in one of the insurer’s most strategic business areas.
Sujoy Ghosh brings 27 years of leadership across insurance and banking in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, according to a media release on Wednesday.
He most recently served at Citi as head of global insurance and Asia head of business development – Citi Wealth, where he was responsible for global insurance operations and business development across the region.
Before Citi, he held senior roles at Allianz in Asia Pacific, managing bancassurance partnerships across life and general insurance.

Based in Singapore
From November, Ghosh will report directly to Singh and will be based in Singapore.
His leadership is expected to sharpen Sun Life’s focus on bespoke HNW solutions across Asia and beyond.
