UBS Hires Ex-Morgan Stanley Private Banker in Hong Kong

The wealth management unit of UBS has hired a 20-year private banking veteran who was most recently working at Morgan Stanley, finews.asia has learned.

UBS Global Wealth Management has appointed Claudy Ho as market team head within its Hong Kong private client segment, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia. In the role, she reports to Jamee Wong, head private client Greater China.

Ho has over 20 years of experience as a private banker, most recently at Morgan Stanley, where she spent 15 years, last as an executive director. Previously, she worked at Credit Suisse as a vice president and Bank Sarasin as a senior director.

A spokesperson for the bank confirmed the appointment.
