Westpac Nets Ex-Deutsche Bank Investment Strategist

One of Deutsche Bank’s former top investment strategists has re-emerged at Westpac’s private banking arm in Sydney.

Westpac has appointed Stefanie Holtze-Jen as deputy chief investment officer (CIO), private wealth, according to a LinkedIn post.

Holtze-Jen has 30 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, and private banking across Europe and Asia Pacific. Most recently, she was working at Deutsche Bank Private Bank in Singapore as its CIO for APAC.

«Stefanie Holtze-Jen joins us at an important time as we continue to invest in growing our Global Investment Services business,» said Ashley Steward, managing director, private wealth at Westpac.

«Her deep global investment and markets experience will be invaluable as we focus on enhancing our strong analysis and curation of high conviction investment opportunities for our high-net-worth clients,» he added.
