Citi Hires Ex-ANZ Banker for Indonesia Markets Unit
A former ANZ banker has joined Citi to head its markets business in Indonesia.
Citi has appointed Benny Aroeman as head of markets for Indonesia, according to a statement. In the role, he reports to Sue Lee, head of markets for Asia South and Batara Sianturi, Citi country officer and banking head for Indonesia.
Aroeman has over 30 years of experience in delivering derivatives, structured products and risk management solutions to Indonesian clients. He was most recently head of markets for Indonesia at ANZ since 2019. Prior to that, he also worked at DBS Indonesia, HSBC Indonesia and Deutsche Indonesia. He started his career in Garuda Indonesia, Brussels in Belgium.
