SMBC Hires DBS China's Head of Institutional Banking
Tokyo-based SMBC has hired a former DBS executive to lead its corporate banking business in Asia.
SMBC has appointed Joyce Tee as head of corporate banking department in Asia Pacific, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, she reports to head of APAC division Katsufumi Uchida.
Tee has more than 30 years of banking experience, most recently as managing director and head of institutional banking group at DBS China. Previously, she was DBS’ group head of SME banking and also held senior roles at OCBC and MetroBank N.A. USA.
