Ride-Hailing App Co-Founder Joins WRISE
The co-founder of a renowned Chinese ride-hailing app has joined multi-family office WRISE.
WRISE Hong Kong has appointed Joe C. Lee as non-executive director of WRISE Prestige Hong Kong – the firm’s affluent business – according to a statement. In the role, he will offer independent strategic counsel across core areas such as business growth, innovation strategy, corporate governance, and risk management. He will also contribute to the refinement of the product-client mix and play an advisory role in key business milestones.
Lee is an accomplished entrepreneur and innovator who co-founded Kuaidi Dache which became Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing via a 2015 merger. He also serves as the chairman of Renhe Holdings Limited, chairman of Klover Insurtech, and advisor to many venture-backed startups.

Management Reshuffle
In addition, the firm has also appointed WRISE Prestige’s former chairman Stephen Yan and ex-vice chairman Jowin Fung as vice chairman of WRISE Group and vice chairman of WRISE Hong Kong, respectively. Yan will work closely with Tan to shape and execute the group’s strategic vision across its global offices while Fung will oversee the WRISE Private and Prestige business in Hong Kong, driving business development and client engagement.
WRISE is a multi-family office with over 400 employees and a presence in key financial hubs including Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Tokyo.
