UOB Nets Former StanChart Banker in Singapore
Singapore-based UOB has strengthened its transaction banking business with the hire of a former Standard Chartered executive, finews.asia has learned.
UOB has appointed Jocelyn Tan as managing director and head, group product management and digitalization, transaction banking, sources told finews.asia.
Based in Singapore, she will be responsible for developing and executing the overall product strategy for transaction banking across the group; leading and overseeing the development and management of cash, trade and digital channel solutions; and driving innovation and digital transformation of transaction banking services.
Tan joins from Standard Chartered where she worked for nearly eight years, most recently as global head of financial markets e-distribution. Previously, she also spent 10 years at Citi in e-FX sales for Asia, trade and treasury solution sales and other roles.
