BNY Hires Ex-Goldman Cross-Asset Financing Head
New York-based BNY has hired a former Goldman Sachs executive to lead securities financing in the region.
BNY has appointed Nehal Mehra as head of Asia Pacific securities financing & global collateral, according to a statement. In the newly created role, Mehra will play a key role across the bank's securities financing and collateral platforms, developing solutions to meet the needs of clients in the region. Based in Hong Kong, he reports to Nehal Udeshi, head of securities finance; Gesa Johannsen, head of global collateral; and Nelius De Groot, head of markets international.
Mehra joins BNY from Goldman Sachs where he was global head of cross asset financing.
