BNP Paribas AM Adds Private Asset Executive
The asset management arm of BNP Paribas has bolstered its private asset business with a new hire in Asia.
BNP Paribas Asset Management has appointed Jeff French as head of investor relations, private assets Asia Pacific, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he reports to APAC CEO Mike Nikou.
French has 15 years of experience in general partner and limited partner roles, most recently as managing director and Asia head at OMERS Private Equity. Previously, he also worked at Blackstone, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.
«We have seen growing interest among Asian investors in private assets and Jeff’s appointment is part of BNPP AM’s broader strategy in growing the private asset business in the region; while further cementing our commitment to providing clients with a broader range of product offerings and sources of alpha,» Nikou commented.
