Toronto-based insurer Sun Life has announced the appointment of a chief client experience and marketing officer for Asia.

Sun Life has appointed Mahima Tankha Marwah as chief client experience & marketing officer, Asia, according to a statement, effective March 15. In the role, she is responsible for leading client and marketing strategy across the region to grow brand health, deepen client engagement and inform product innovation to meet client needs.

Marwah has over 20 years of experience in channel management, brand management, digital marketing, customer experience and insights in life, health, and general insurance in Asia. Prior to joining the Canadian insurer, she held senior insurance distribution, client experience and marketing roles at FWD and Allianz.
