The private banking arm of Crédit Agricole has appointed two senior bankers for its North Asia team to cover Taiwanese clients.

Indosuez Wealth Management has appointed Hank Chiu as executive director, according to a statement. In the role, he is tasked with covering key Taiwanese clients. Chiu has 20 years of wealth management experience, including senior roles in the past 17 years with the Singapore-based private banking units of UBS and Morgan Stanley.

The French bank also appointed Renee Wu as senior director. Prior to her latest role, she was a senior vice president of Taipei Fubon Bank’s private banking division. Previously, she also held roles managing teams at ANZ and Citi.

According to Indosuez, it plans to double the North Asia team’s business in Singapore by 2025 as part of a three-year plan.

«We are excited to have Hank and Renee on board,» said head of North Asia and strategic partnerships Alfred Low. «This expansion is in line with our dedicated strategy for Taiwan and the region as we sharpen our focus to provide customized wealth management solutions including supporting generational wealth transfer.»
