The Singapore arm of Japanese insurer Tokio Marine Life has announced the appointment of a head of strategic partnership.

Tokio Marine Life Singapore appoints Soh Yeow Liang as head of strategic partnership, according to a statement. In the role, he will spearhead efforts to acquire new financial advisory, bancassurance and affinity market share.

Soh has over 18 years of experience across insurance, banking and trust. Previously, he served as the head of sales and distribution for a Bermuda high net worth insurer, general manager of a financial advisory firm and senior vice presidents for a Hong Kong-headquartered trust company.

Established more than 140 years ago, Tokio Marine Life is Japan’s first insurance company. Today, it has a network that spans across 46 countries and regions, housing over 40,000 employees.
