Card payment giant Visa has appointed a new country manager to oversee operations in Singapore and Brunei.

Visa names Adeline Kim as its new country manager for Singapore and Brunei, according to a statement. Kim will succeed Kunal Chatterjee, who will move to head up Visa’s Asia Pacific innovation team.

Prior to the appointment, Kim had led several departments within Visa, including the APAC data solutions team based in Singapore, the products and solutions team for Southeast Asia, and consumer solutions team for APAC. Before joining Visa, Kim had also helmed several leadership roles at Citibank Singapore, UOB and Singapore Tourism Board, where she started her career.

«I look forward to working with our clients, fintechs and regulator to expand more usage and acceptance for digital payments and ensure that consumers and businesses can pay and be paid seamlessly and efficiently,» Kim said.
