Blackrock has announced two regional appointments focused on corporate strategy and products in Asia Pacific.

Blackrock appoints Tomoko Ueda as APAC head of corporate strategy and Aarti Angara as APAC head of products, according to a statement released Monday.  

Ueda was most recently a senior corporate officer and global head of strategic planning and management information at Nikko Asset Management. Previously, she also held senior equity capital market roles at Merrill Lynch Japan Securities and Morgan Stanley. 

Angara joins from Caravel Asset Management in Hong Kong where she was its chief investment officer. Prior to that, she was the co-head of Morgan Stanley’s investment special situations group for Asia ex-Japan.
