The independent asset manager and multi-family office is strengthening its UNHW capabilities with a new hire from the Bank of Singapore.

Singapore-based asset manager HP Wealth Management has announced the appointment of Rishi Dhanuka as director, «Citywire Asia» reported.

In his new role, Dhanuka, reporting directly to managing partner and founder Urs Bruetsch, will manage high and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families, primarily focusing on non-resident Indian clients, the publications said.

Dhanuka was previously executive director and team head at the Bank of Singapore, the private banking arm of OCBC Bank. According to his LinkedIn profile, Dhanuka also worked at Barclays, UBS, Societe General and Kotak Securities.

Strengthening Capabilities

Earlier this year, finews.asia reported HP Wealth's hire of Rosemary Liang from UBS to bolster the firm's private market capabilities.

HP Wealth Management is one of the older independent asset managers and multi-family offices operating in Singapore. The company was founded by Bruetsch in 2009 and obtained a CMS License from regulator MAS in 2012.
