Indosuez Strengthens North Asia Leadership With Key Appointment
The wealth management arm of Crédit Agricole expands its senior bench in Asia with the appointment of Chua See Piu as Head of North Asia Market.
Indosuez Wealth Management has named Chua See Piu as Head of North Asia Market, effective immediately. Based in Singapore, he will oversee growth and strategy across key markets including China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, the bank announced in a media release issued on Wednesday.
With more than 20 years of private banking and investment advisory experience, Chua brings deep expertise in serving ultra-high-net-worth and family office clients across Asia. He reports to Laurent Proutière, Chief Executive Officer Asia, Indosuez Wealth Management.
Proven Track Record Across Leading Global Banks
Before joining Indosuez, Chua served as Managing Director and Market Leader at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, where he delivered strong growth in assets under management and revenues.
His career also spans senior roles at Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, Citi Private Bank and Nomura – all of which equipped him with a broad understanding of complex investment, credit and capital markets solutions for clients in North and Southeast Asia.
Reinforcing Regional Ambitions
Chua’s appointment follows the recent hiring of Phonda Chan as Deputy Chief Executive of Indosuez Wealth Management Hong Kong Branch, reporting to Hong Kong CEO Michaël Kofman.
Together, the two appointments underscore Indosuez’s strategy to deepen its leadership presence and accelerate growth across Asia.
