A former UBS executive has been hired by the wealth management unit of BNP Paribas to lead its Taiwan business.

BNP Paribas Wealth Management has appointed Che-Kun Hsu as head of wealth management, Taiwan, according to a statement. He is tasked with leading the bank’s wealth management business in Taiwan, driving client expansion, team performance and operational excellence in alignment with its Asia strategy and model.

In the role, he reports directly to BNP Paribas Wealth Management Asia CEO Arnaud Tellier and functionally to BNP Paribas Taiwan CEO Bruno Boussard.

Hsu has more than 23 years of experience in wealth management and investment solutions, most recently at UBS Taiwan where he served as product head for advisory and services.
