UBP Nabs Greater China Trio From BOS, Citi
Geneva-based Union Bancaire Privée has expanded its Greater China business with three front office hires from Bank of Singapore and Citi.
UBP has hired three new executives covering ultra-high net worth clients across the Greater China markets, according to a statement.
Aaron Lee has been appointed as team head after around 20 years of banking experience, most recently at Bank of Singapore. Prior to that, he also worked at HSBC Private Bank. In the role, he reports to Teresa Lee, chief executive of Hong Kong and regional head of North Asia.
Relationship Manager Hires
In addition, the bank has also named Charles Tam as senior relationship manager and Sue Peng as relationship manager.
Tam, who reports to Aaron Lee, began his career as a management associate at Citibank before later also joining Bank of Singapore.
Peng has 20 years of financial experience, most recently at Citi Private Bank. Previously, she was a director of investment banking at UBS, focusing on overseas IPOs, debt financing and M&A deals for Chinese enterprises.
