The chief executive of OCBC has been chosen as an executive director on the Singapore lender’s board.

OCBC group CEO Helen Wong has been elected as executive director of the bank’s board, according to a statement. Wong was chosen for the role by the nominating committee and approved by the board. She will also retain her existing role as CEO.
