Citigroup’s Asia-Pacific head of the financial institutions group is jumping ship to JP Morgan Chase, «Bloomberg» reported Wednesday.

Kelvin Goh has resigned as head of the financial institutions group at Citigroup, based in Singapore, to join JP Morgan Chase, «Bloomberg» reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Goh will start at JP Morgan in «a few months» as head of the Asia Pacific financial institutions group, the report said.

Joined Citi in 2018

Citigroup declined to comment directly on the matter to finews.asia. Goh did not immediately respond to messages sent via LinkedIn and email. J.P. Morgan also didn’t respond to an emailed request for comment.

In 2018, Goh joined Citi and was the Asia Pacific head of insurance and investment banking before becoming the Asia Pacific head of financial institutions group in 2021.
