DBS named a new head of private banking for Greater China to succeed the retired Januar Tjandra.

DBS appoints Peter Tung to role to manage and develop the Singapore lender's private banking business in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China and Taiwan, according to a statement.

Tung has over 26 years of industry experience including more than 17 years with Morgan Stanley Asia Private Wealth Management and four years with UBS where he was the head of its Greater China ultra-high net worth business. Prior to joining, Tung was also a partner at Venturous Capital, a family office specializing in smart city technology investments.
