UK asset manager J.O. Hambro Capital Management appointed a new CEO for UK, Europe and Asia, the third one in less than four years.
Alexandra Altinger joins as the new UK-based CEO for the three aforementioned markets, which includes its London and Singapore offices, effective as of September 9.
Altinger has more than 25 years of global experience in wealth and asset management and was most recently the CEO of UK-based Sandier Investment Office, which specializes in tailored investment portfolio and solutions for families and foundations, from 2014 to 2017.

Altinger succeeds Emilio Gonzalez who was the acting CEO since August 2018 before returning to Sydney as the expected new CEO of JO Hambro’s Australian parent company, Pendal Group, pending regulatory approval.
Gonzalez temporarily moved to London in August last year to fill the hole by the exit of former chief executive Ken Lambden, who left after 22 months. Prior to Lambden, the business was run by Gavin Rochussen for eight years.
