As boutique wealth manager Rothschild & Co winds down its Asia presence, its former head resurfaces at another firm, as finews.asia can reveal.

As Rothschild & Co.winds down its Asia presence, its former head of wealth management, Audrey Zau, has joined Swiss private bank Lombard Odier in its Hong Kong office. She joins as a managing director and senior relationship manager, after spending four years at the helm of Rothschild & Co, and five years prior to that as head of wealth management at Bank Hapoalim.

A spokesperson for Lombard Odier confirmed Zau's appointment. Earlier in the year, Rothschild CEO Laurent Gagnebin explained to finews.asia that although successful, the firm was just too small to maintain two offices in Asia.
