The investment management arm of Dallas-headquartered CBRE has hired a new managing director in Sydney.
CBRE Investment Management appoints Evan Gallagher as managing director for the APAC client solutions team, according to a statement. Based in Sydney, he is responsible for leading real assets-related client engagement with institutional and wealth management investors in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
Gallagher has 25 years of experience in the real assets investment management industry. Prior to his latest appointment, he led strategic planning and growth initiatives at an Australian specialist boutique real estate manager. Previously, he also worked at Blackstone-backed ASK Capital and GIC-backed IDFC.
CBRE Investment Management operates in more than 30 offices and 20 countries around the world. As of 30 June 2023, it had $147.6 billion in assets under management.
