Armstrong, who has over 20 years of experience in transaction management and advisory, joined Knight Frank in Australia in 2007.

Knight Frank has appointed with immediate effect Tim Armstrong as the firm's global head of occupier strategy and solutions, a role previously held by William Beardmore-Gray in London, the global real estate advisor announced on Thursday.

Over the past three years, the team has more than doubled the size of the real estate portfolios it manages on behalf of clients, Knight Franks said. To support this growth, Armstrong has expanded the scope and capability of the Global Portfolio Solutions business in line with the growing demand for real estate outsourcing from corporate clients, according to the announcement.

Beardmore-Gray will be moving into a new role as senior partner and group chair in April 2022.

Strategic Move

«Tim’s leadership from Singapore reflects the strategic intent of our business to expand our operations across the region and future-proof our firm with key roles based outside of the U.K.,» Alistair Elliott, Knight Frank senior partner and group chairman, said.

The appointment follows the firm’s announcement of a partnership with U.S.-based Cresa, which brings together their Global Portfolio Solutions businesses, placing significant investment in bespoke technology and research capabilities to provide innovative occupier solutions.

«With Cresa as our partner in North America linking to our strong occupier platforms in EMEA and APAC, Knight Frank is well-positioned to deliver comprehensive global solutions, aligned with our clients’ needs and ambitions,» Armstrong said in the statement.
