Property specialist Knight Frank has announced the appointment of a chief executive officer for Greater China.

Knight Frank appoints Craig Shute as CEO for Greater China, according to a statement, based in Hong Kong. He succeeds Piers Brunner who will return to the firm later from his leave of absence «in some capacity».

Shute has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the property industry in Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the US. He was most recently a managing director at JLL in Victoria, Australia. Previously, he also worked at CBRE leading the Hong Kong and Taiwan business for almost eight years. 

«[Shute's] wealth of leadership experience across multiple continents will prove invaluable in navigating the current challenging market conditions,» said APAC managing director Kevin Coppel.
