UBS is planning an investor event in Hong Kong to carry on Credit Suisse’s legacy in the city.

UBS plans to host an investor conference in Hong Kong from May 27 to 29 in 2024, according to Tim Wannenmacher, the bank’s co-head of global markets for Asia Pacific.

«It’s a recognition that Credit Suisse has built up a phenomenal brand over 26 years. It’s always been one of the staples,» Wannenmacher said in a «Bloomberg» report.

HSBC Event

UBS’s event will be held less than two months after HSBC’s newly announced flagship investor conference next year from April 8 to 10 which also intends to extend the Credit Suisse tradition.

The event, which follows the marque HSBC-sponsored Hong Kong Sevens, from April 5 to 7, will be held at the Conrad Hotel – historically the venue of choice for Credit Suisse’s conference.

According to Wannenmacher, the venue for UBS’s event has not yet been announced.
