London-headquartered Janus Henderson has hired a 20-year asset management vet to lead Greater China equities.

Janus Henderson has appointed Victoria Mio as portfolio manager and head of Greater China equities, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, she reports to Lucas Klein, head of EMEA & APAC equities.

Mio has more than two decades of experience in Chinese equities investments. Prior to joining the British asset manager, she served as head of equity research, APAC at Fidelity International for three years. She also previously worked at Robeco for 14 years, last as chief investment officer China and co-head of APAC equities.
