Citi’s commercial banking arm has announced two key appointments in the Southeast Asia region.

Citi Commercial Bank appoints Raymond Lim as head of corporate finance for ASEAN, according to a statement. In the newly created role, he reports to Lin Hsiu-Yi, head of Citi Commercial Bank for ASEAN and Singapore.

Lim will relocate back home for the role from Malaysia to Singapore.

He first joined Citi in 2007 as a mid-corporates segment banker and was most recently country head of Citi Commercial Bank in Malaysia.

Successor

Succeeding Lim as country head of Citi Commercial Bank Malaysia is Shawn Khong Hsiu-Mun, effective July 1. Based in Kuala Lumpur, he reports to Lin and Vikram Singh, Citi country officer for Malaysia.

Khong has over 23 years of banking experience and first joined Citi in 2000 as a management associate. He is currently country head of Citi Commercial Bank Vietnam, a role he took on in 2019, as well as Citibank Hanoi branch director.
