Morgan Stanley Investment Management has announced the appointment of a new head of Asia.

Michael Levin joins Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) as head of MSIM Asia, according to a statement. Based in Hong Kong, he will focus on new market and product opportunities in the region. 

Levin has over 25 years of asset management experience, most recently as a managing director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Previously, he spent a decade with Credit Suisse in various senior rules, including head of asset management for APAC and the Americas. Levin is also the co-founder of AsiaCrest Capital and Metropolitan Venture Partners.
