Mazars is expanding its financial advisory and consulting practices in Singapore with the addition of two new local partners.

Ellyn Tan has joined Mazars as a local partner in Singapore, where she will lead and expand the restructuring and insolvency practices, according to an announcement.

Tan is a licensed insolvency practitioner with over 15 years of experience managing litigation, asset recovery, and restructuring engagements. She is a certified fraud examiner as well as a qualified listed entity director, and is on the board of directors of the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation.

In addition, Mazars also appoints Athreya H.D. as a partner in Singapore after 16 years of experience in financial services. He has in-depth knowledge of enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, internal audit, and corporate governance with expertise in areas such as anti-money laundering, anti-fraud, customer due diligence, US foreign account tax and compliance, personal data protection and ESG.

Earlier in December 2022, Mazars also appointed five global partners including Chin Chee Choon for audit and assurance, Chester Liew for risk consulting, Elaine Chow for tax, Rain Chong for outsourcing, as well as Justin Lim for outsourcing.
