Jim Roland will relocate to Singapore and replace Jake Nilsson in the Asia Pacific region. 

US-based active investment manager Federated Hermes announced on Friday that it had appointed Jim Roland as its new head of distribution for the Asia Pacific region, replacing Jake Nilsson, who has held the role since 2014.

The appointment is effective immediately. Roland reports to Paul Uhlman, the president of Federated Securities Corp, who oversees global distribution at the group.

 

Move from London

Roland is currently the head of the international client group in London and he will relocate to Singapore to take up his new role, where he will oversee regional sales and distribution efforts in the city-state, Hong Kong, South Korea, Australia, and Japan as well as throughout the region.

Jake Nilsson will remain at Federated Hermes and will take on a new role as head of private market sales, ex-North America, based in London.
