Credit Suisse's head of investment banking and capital markets for Australia has reportedly left and rejoined Macquarie.

Dragi Ristevski will join Macquarie Capital as head of financial sponsors, Asia Pacific, according to a report by «AFP» citing an internal memo. Based in Sydney, he will report to executive director Tim Joyce.

Ristevski will also sit on the APAC group heads committee and work alongside division director Dieu Ndenzako to build a new specialist private equity coverage team for the APAC market.

Ritevski was most recently the head of investment banking and capital markets (IBCM) at Credit Suisse, which has been acquired by UBS. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in February 2021, he also worked at Citigroup as well as Macquarie earlier in his career.
