Real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has appointed a head of sustainability for Asia Pacific. 

Matthew Clifford has been appointed as Cushman & Wakefield’s head of sustainability and ESG for APAC, according to an announcement. Based in Sydney, Clifford reports to APAC CEO Matthew Bouw.

In the role, Clifford leads a team of over 60 sustainability and ESG professionals while collaborating with EMEA and Americas counterparts to further develop the firm’s global sustainability proposition. He will also chair the APAC sustainability and ESG operations committee. 

Clifford has experience building and strengthening sustainability advisory teams across APAC, and he was most recently working at JLL.

Sustainability Thought Leadership

In addition, the firm names Andrew Phipps as global head of sustainability thought leadership, based in London. Prior to taking on the newly created role, Phipps led Cushman & Wakefield’s marketing and research functions for EMEA.
