Australia-headquartered Iress has hired a digital business strategist, who will be responsible for leading the firm's client solutions function in Asia.

Iress has announced the appointment of Eric Kuah as head of client solutions, Asia, a newly created role that aims to drive client growth in the region, the company announced on Monday.

Kuah joins from Maybank Kim Eng, where he spent more than a decade, most recently as regional head of digital business strategy. He previously spent over four years as a system integration and technology consultant at Accenture specializing in financial services.

In his new role, Kuah will support clients who want to use Iress’ software and services for an end-to-end solution including across broking, wealth management, market data and data analytics services. He will also work closely with Iress managing director, Asia, Jason Hoang to accelerate the firm's growth aspirations.

Digital Capabilities

The technology company provides software and services to the financial services industry, including trading and market data, financial advice, investment management, mortgages, superannuation, life and pensions and data intelligence. 

Iress has been providing financial software to clients in Asia since 2010, with regional clients including Maybank Kim Eng and Hong Leong.
