The newly created entity has wasted no time moving quickly in Asia to appoint a head for one of its key markets.

Standard Life Aberdeen, has appointed a head for its onshore China business, «AsianInvestor» reports.

Amy Wang, formerly head of institutional business for Greater China at Amundi Pioneer Asset Management, will take up the new role on 1 September.

Wang joined Pioneer Investments in September 2015, prior to that she spent 12 years as Beijing chief representative at Franklin Templeton, where she oversaw daily operations including business development and client services.
