From January 2017 investment manager Fidelity International will have a new Head of Intermediary, South East Asia, and Singapore Country Head.

Fidelity International has announced that Ben Waterhouse has been appointed as Head of Intermediary Business, South East Asia and Middle East and Country Head in Singapore. He will report to Daisy Ho, Managing Director, Asia Ex-Japan. Waterhouse will assume this position in January 2017, the firm said in a memo.

He is currently Head of Wholesale Sales in the U.K. He joined Fidelity in August 2010, having spent 10 years at Legal & General Investment Management leading distribution in the intermediary market.

Management Moves

Mike Nikou, currently Managing Director South East Asia and Head of Intermediary Business, Asia ex Japan, is moving on to a new role and will remain in Singapore until the end of 2016 to ensure a smooth transition takes place.

Last month Fidelity International promoted from within for the newly-created role of Managing Director, Asia ex-Japan.

Southeast Asian Critical to Growth
